Fireplace at Sprudlebu after a winter day
Holtardalen · Rauland · Norway

A cabin worth staying in.

Private mountain living with classic Norwegian character, modern comfort, a sauna, hot tub and room for the whole week to unfold at its own pace.

The setting

The mountain is outside. The evening is yours.

Sprudlebu sits at the end of a dead-end road with open mountain views and a setting that feels private rather than exposed.

No through traffic. No need to look into a row of neighbouring terraces. Just a high mountain position, a broad view and a cabin that feels set apart.

For people who enjoy cooking

The kitchen is part of the evening.

A substantial kitchen, generous dining space and a cabin made for long dinners make food part of the stay, not an interruption to it.

Cook while music plays through the built-in sound system, gather everyone around the table, and let the evening continue without needing to go anywhere else.

Hosting

Make the evening an occasion.

The dining space is made for more than quick meals between activities.

Invite friends over, cook something worth lingering over, open a bottle and let dinner become part of the reason for being here.

Different rhythms

Space for children. Space for adults.

Two living areas, four bedrooms and two bathrooms let a full house split naturally without splitting the holiday.

Children can disappear upstairs with a film or a game while dinner happens below. Somebody can read by the fire. Somebody else can use the sauna or take the hot tub. Later, everyone comes back together around the table.

That separation matters more after a long day outside than an impressive list of amenities.

Time for yourself

Close the door on the rest of the world.

Sauna heat, quiet music and a slower pace after a day outside.

The wellness side of Sprudlebu is intentionally private: your own sauna, your own hot tub, your own evening.

The setting

Private, quiet and high in the mountains — with sunsets that can stop the evening for a while.

70 m² terrace

Outside, all year.

Lunch in the winter sun. A long summer dinner. Coffee in clear mountain air. A fire when the temperature drops.

The terrace is not just an extra space. It is part of how the cabin is lived in through the year.
